*Story of Shakuhachi’s arrival from China

Shakuhachi has been believed to have been transmitted from China ancient times.
Although Japan’s oldest shakuhachi is said to be shakuhachi.
Now it is keeping at “Shosoin” at Nara-ken.
It is imported from China, then it was modified Japanese style.
There is no concrete document  as to which it was became the current instrument style.
It started as a result of attempting to play gymnastics with Koko and the Shamisen,
It is said that the length of 8 ㎝ 1 scale has become mainstream.
Currently it can be roughly divided into two schools “TOZAN-Ryu” and “KINKO-Ryu”.
