About SHAKUHACHI

SHAKUHACHI

The Shakuhachi is a traditional Japanese bamboo flute.

Even though there are only five finger holes, it can produce all pitches on the chromatic scale.

Unlike the Saxophone or Trumpet, the Shakuhachi has no mouthpiece and therefore it is said that producing a pitch can be very difficult.

*At a experience session we using a high quality plastic Shakuhachi.
