2026年のGWが始まりましたね。
今年は昨年に比べて欧米からの訪日観光客さんが減っているようで
箏と尺八の体験会も季節の割には予約が少なくのんびりと過ごしております。
地元のGYM仲間から評判を聞いて是非行ってみたかった
荻外荘（てきがいそう）に行ってきました。
冴えない顔ですがとりあえずセルフ記念撮影。
元気なら自宅から徒歩でも余裕で行ける距離なのですが、3月から約23年ぶりのひどい坐骨神経痛に悩まされておりフニャフニャとユルーい感じで自転車で乗り付けました。

①大田黒公園②角川庭園はよく話に聞いていましたが
③荻外荘は最近になって知りました（地元なのにチョー無知・恥）。
大人・入場料300円だったと思います。
館内はとても手入れが行き届いておりました。
歴史などあまり得意ではなく学が乏しいので絵日記みたいになってしまいますが、館内の撮影OK箇所の画像を数枚アップしておきます。
照明器具は当時のガラスに似た素材で復元したような説明を聴かせて頂きました。
和太鼓が置かれていました。
ARで大変興味深い説明を閲覧できました。

食堂で映像が流れていた復刻版の大礼服が蔵に展示されています。
ご近所ではありますが坐骨神経痛で長時間の立位・歩行がキツイので裏手にあるカフェで一服。
驚くほど美味しいドリンクとジェラート！！！
普段カフェなど入る機会もないので過度に驚いてしまったのかもしれないですが、このジェラートは過去イチ美味と思いました！
店内の案内を調べると、これまたご近所・阿佐ヶ谷北のジェラート屋さん
Gelateria SINCERITA
美味しいです！感動です！！
角川庭園も回った後にソッコーでチャリでGelateria SINCERITAへ向かいました（爆笑）

Koto and Shakuhachi experience in cherry blossom season

Cherry blossom season has brought many visitors to our Koto and Shakuhachi experience session.
The other day, a family from Luxembourg came to our workshop!
The youngest child was 11 years old, and the group consisted of siblings, their parents, and grandmother.
They all play instruments regularly, so their sense of pitch and rhythm was wonderful, and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
They learned “Sakura” on the Koto, then a joined the session with my playing shakuhachi.
For the Shakuhachi, they learned the basics of producing sound and also received an explanation of Western musical scales.
We are so grateful and touched by our wonderful customers!
We encourage everyone to come and experience traditional Japanese instruments!

We have 8 participants for our shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute) experience session.
We have a variety of shakuhachi available to welcome you, including the traditional high-performance plastic shakuhachi “Yu,” the 3D-printed shakuhachi “NOROSHI” by Hayashi Reirin, and the fiberglass shakuhachi “So-un.”
Instruments are also available for purchase after the experience session for those who wish to purchase one.
