光山会2026年ゆかた会

7月25日（土曜日）おかげさまで光山会の夏季合奏勉強会【ゆかた会】を終えることができました。

まだ習い始めで今年の参加に間に合わなかった門下生の方々、これから入門をお考えの方々にも多数お集まり頂き、例年にも増して大変賑やかな場となりました！

今年の演奏の結果を踏まえ、また来年に向けて努力して頂ければと願います。

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful visitor from the Netherlands for a Koto and Shakuhachi Experience Session.
Despite his youth, he plays in a TOTO tribute band back home; when I asked how that came about, he explained that he grew up listening to TOTO thanks to his father’s influence.
It turned out his father is close to my age—we both listened to TOTO in our younger days—making this a truly wonderful encounter where I could discuss the music scene in the Netherlands and more with his son.

Mr.Twan is a musician with wonderful musical taste.

週末にオランダからの素晴らしい訪日客様をお迎えして箏と尺八の体験会を開催しました。
彼はまだ若いのにオランダでTOTOのトリビュートバンドをやっていて、どうした経緯なのか聞くと、彼の父の影響で子供の頃からTOTOを聴いて育ったのだそうです。
そうです、彼のお父さんは私と歳が近く、お互いが若い頃からTOTOを聴いており、息子さんを通じてオランダの音楽事情などをお話し出来る素晴らしい出会いとなりました。

Twanさんは素晴らしい音楽センスを持った若きミュージシャンで彼のInstagramで色々なサウンドを聴くことができますので是非チェックしてみてください！

数えてみると私が主導するようになって2009年に合奏勉強会をスタートさせてから
2010年とコロナで自粛した2020年を除いては毎年続けてきたので今年が14回目となります。

KOZANKAI Summer Ensemble Workshop: “Yukata-kai 2026”

Looking back, I began leading these ensemble workshops in 2009. With the exception of 2010 and the year 2020—when we refrained from holding events due to the pandemic—we have continued to host them annually, making this our 14th event.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the guest instructors for their support, and I wish my students continued growth and success!
